Our New Pet Kitten

What is she up to now??????????
MEOW!!!
Alison allowed Grace & her friend to create a cat face using washable (thank goodness) markers.

As I've said before, this child thrives on attention. Her grandma says "she will be on stage someday", Daddy says "no way".

Just being Katy showing off those baby blues. ;o)

Wiped Out

Katy has now moved on to her next "Big Girl" stage; NO MORE NAPS. Well at least not scheduled ones anyway.......if we are in the van for anytime at all from about 1-4 PM she is gone almost instantly. That's what we see in these pictures; she slept on the sofa for about an hour this day, coat & all.
Rest well Baby Girl.........Mommy loves you!

The School Christmas Show; "Letters To Santa".

Alison had the first speaking part of the evening; she was reading a letter to Santa.
Here we see "The Star" waving to her adoring fans.
Just another pretty face in the crowd...........I don't think so; as my grandmother has said from the day Alison was born, "This child commands your attention". This is so true!

Our Tree 2008

Little Miss Katy is putting on the finishing touches after Daddy & her sisters decorated the tree. Here we find my 3 beautiful daughters just being goofy together; what fun!

Merry Christmas from The Rootes Family!

A New Look For The Rootes Girls

The first "new look" is for Alison; I took her out of school on Friday during lunch to get her hair cut, she wanted to go super short. Isn't she adorable; she is styling this new do!
The next "new look" has come to our Grace; Daddy took her to get her 1st pair of glasses yesterday. I think they did an excellent job picking out the right ones. Doesn't she look FAB?
Ok so this is not a "new look" but I just couldn't leave out these amazing eyes. Who does this child look like.....Hmm?

Finally here are my 3 lovelies; God has blesses us abundantly!

A Different Kind of Thanksgiving

This year we chose to "skip" the traditional celebration and took the girls to Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, OH. What great fun!!!

As you can see we all have a wonderful time; even Katy couldn't get enough. After each waterslide experience she would say, "More again".

We WILL do this again; and for the girls it will not be soon enough!
