Another New Look

Grace had her braces put on this past Thursday; OUCH! She's been pretty uncomfortable since. Ibuprophen is her new best friend! It's getting better and she is starting to get used to them. She still hasn't started eating "real food", only pudding and yogurt but we'll get back to normal soon enough. Maybe just in time for her 1st adjustment; so that she can be uncomfortable all over again.

But doesn't she look cute with her new smile!

1st Day of School

Where has the summer gone?? It has flown by so fast; and now we are back to another 1st day of school.

Grace rolled out of bed at 5:30 this morning for her 1st day of 6th grade. Isn't my "baby" beautiful?

Alison started her day at 6:55 and prepared for her 1st day of 3rd grade. She is very excited about the new school year!

Every year we take "1st day of school" pictures by the address block on the house; Katy had to get in on the action this morning. No, she's not going to school but she loves being in front of the camera....

Busy, Busy Summer

We have been super busy this summer, enjoying our cute little pop-up camper. We have just completed our 5th trip of the summer; too much fun. Here are just a few pics from our Brown County State Park weekend.

This is a water balloon that I'm chewing on; it must be hard work because Mommy thinks I look pretty tired. I think Mommy was right; I've fallen asleep with my balloon still attached.

Happy Birthday to Grace!!

Grace had 3 girlfriends join us for the evening. I took them 1st to dinner @ Texas Roadhouse. "Attention Texas Roadhouse, Grace here is celebrating her 11th birthday with us. On the count of 3 let's all give her a BIG YEA HA"!

Next the girls bowled 1 game and spent time in the arcade.

Then we headed home for ice cream cake and a sleepover. It's never too late for ice cream cake (even at 11:00 PM).

I'm pretty sure that it's safe to say, "the girls all had a blast".

Yesterday was Grace's 11th birthday; I am amazed everyday at how much she is becoming a beautiful young women (inside & out). Isn't she lovely!!

My New Seat

Katy just got a "new" car seat from my dear friend. Because she was so excited about the new seat, I had to bring it in the house for her to try out. These pics show her eating lunch (popcorn chicken) & drinking her juice while watching Blue's Clues (her absolute favorite show).
